Evolutie? / GlasInLoodMaker at the Der Aa-kerk Noorderzon 2010
On one of the most beautiful and leading buildings in Groningen; the Der Aa-church, Schwung Visuell will project two specially created video installations during the Noorderzon Festival from the 19 to the 29th of August. Evolutie? (Evolution?) is a short graphic story about cycles in nature; the creation of life, civilisation and the armageddon, and in the end rising from the flames. By using videomapping on the architecture the entrance of the church will be transformed completely.
The second installation GlasInLoodMaker (StainesGlassCreator) will give the Der Aa-church it’s stained glass windows back. The best part of it is that’s it’s interactive! Release your innner artist and see the church as your playground. By using and old fashioned arcade joystick you can ‘paint’ your own stained glass windows!
